Scottish Landscapes
These paintings are inspired by the Scottish landscape. One of my favourite hobbies is hiking, and a lot of these beautiful scenes were captured on these adventures. I love to climb Munroes, and my favourite season to hike is definitely winter (despite the treacherous conditions) because of the absolute stunning scenery. I hope you enjoy viewing these!

Summer in the Highlands
Acrylic on canvas panel
30x24cm, 2025
For my birthday last year, I went to Fort William in Scotland to go hiking. It was a gruelling 13 hour hike, but we summitted a total of 8 munroes. This painting captures the scene at the very beginning of the day. The weather was perfect, and it was a beautiful day in the highlands.

Arctic Radiance
Acrylic on wooden canvas
23x30cm, 2025
Trying to capture these winter mountain scenes when everything is dark and the same colour can be challenging, but I love that. For this painting, I tried something new. I still used my signature pops of fluorescent colour across the painting, but also decided to add shards of colour across the sky. They bring more life to the landscape but also still reflect the cold winter vibes of the scene.

A Rainy Sunset
Acrylic on canvas
24x30cm, 2025
A rare city landscape, the streets of Edinburgh. The wet streets with the glowing sunset created this absolutely beautiful scene.

Hiking Through the Clouds
Acrylic on canvas panel
30x24cm, 2025
This painting captures reaching the top of a mountain. It was a snowy day and the clouds were so perfectly formed around me. This is why winter is my favourite hiking season - the views are unmatched.

Mount Keen at Sunrise
Acrylic & pens on canvas panel
30x40cm, 2025
This piece reflects an early morning winter hike up Mount Keen. The soft pastel sunrise behind the mountain contrasted so beautifully with the monochromatic snow covered mountain. I chose mixed media to really enhance the contrast.

Echoes of Tranquility
Acrylic on wooden canvas
23x30cm, 2025
This painting captures the serenity of the Scottish Highlands on a beautiful winter morning. This ended up being one of my most memorable hikes, and this stunning scene was just the beginning. I focused on very precise brushstrokes for this piece, being very intentional which is a slightly different approach for my usual. But I had to alter my style to capture the stillness of the scene.

Rivers of Colour
Acrylic on canvas
100x50cm, 2025
A serene Scottish Highlands scene from a hike in winter. It was early morning so the sun was just rising, casting light over the snow covered landscape and bringing life to the scene. I really can't get enough of these winter landscapes. I used a different style to my usual very impressionist ways.

Winter's Daydream
Acrylic on canvas
50x100cm, 2025
What started off as a snow-covered mountain, became something much more imaginative. I wasn't happy with the direction of the painting, so I added bold ribbons and swirls of colour to create a more imaginative feel to the painting. The title reflects this addition and the pops of colour against the still very cold blue landscape - winter dreaming of warmer days.

Glow of Winter
Acrylic on canvas panel
18x13cm, 2025
A mini painting of my first ever munro hike. The mountains were covered in extremely deep snow, and on the way down there was the most stunning orange glow of the sun setting which created a magical contrast across the landscape.

Sunset over Rainbow Mountain
Acrylic on canvas panel
40x30cm, 2025
A winter landscape with a colourful twist. The result of this experiment is a kind of candy-land scene, more so because of the path leading to the mountains and setting sun.

Rock Pools
Acrylic on canvas panel

Something a bit different to my usual kind of landscape - a summers day at the beach! I was drawn to this scene because of the vibrant blues and greens. I just love nature!
